Born in Novi Sad, Serbia. After high school, I was accepted in pre-vet program at University of Prince Edward Island, Canada; where I finished my Bachelors of Science in Biology. My first laboratory job experience as a technical assistant was in an  immunology (allergy) group at the National Research Council of Canada, NRC-INH.  This experience founded my interest in exploring immunology and cell signalling. I

subsequently further specialized my laboratory experience in immunology and genetics at the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Canada....

Katharina Schulenburg
PhD student
kath.schulenburg@gmail.com

Katharina studied at the Radboud University in Nijmegen (NL) where she obtained a B.Sc. in Molecular Life Sciences. She obtained her Masters degree at the University of Bonn where she took part in the Neurosciences Master program. In September 2013 she joined the Group of Krishna Rajalingam as a Phd student. Currently she is involved in two research projects. One is concerned with the role of XIAP in neuronal differentiation. The other one is a part of a transregional collaboration (SFB TR-128) concerned with multiple sclerosis to study how a certain subset of immune cells (TH17 cells) can induce cell death in neurons.

Born in Beaune, France, I studied Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Dijon. After obtaining my Master´s degree, I joined the lab of Prof. Laurence Dubrez to study the protein cIAP and its role in cell proliferation and cytoskeleton remodelling. Another focus of my work was the regulation of the Rho GTPase cdc42 by cIAP and its influence on cell motility and cancer cell invasion. I received my PhD in Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology from Burgundy University, Dijon, France in 2014. In July 2015, I joined Prof. Rajalingam´s group as a Postdoctoral fellow to study new targets in Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma.

I was born in Gyeonggi-do, Korea. I spent the school years in Seoul, where I received MSc degree in Molecular biology. I discovered that activation of the Ras/Raf/MEK/Erk pathway causes an accumulation of B-Raf and in particular its active mutant form V600E in the myonuclei and embryonic forelimb muscle development is controlled by B-Raf through regulation of muscle precursor cell migration.

In 2015, I joined Prof. Dr. Krishnaraj Rajalingam's Group ...
