ABOUT US
We are an international team of scientists with various expertise affiliated to the Paul-Klein-Center for Immune Intervention, University Medical Center, JGU, Mainz. We aim to understand the signaling pathways that control fundamental cellular processes like proliferation, migration, differentiation and cell death. Normal cell growth, development and turn over are tightly controlled by a myriad of signaling networks encompassing various proteins. Deregulation of these cascades leads to several pathological conditions including cancer and immune disorders. We employ a wide range of techniques, cell culture and animal models to address our scientific questions.
