Prof. Keshav Singh is one of the leading scientists in cancer genetics and mitochondrial genetics. His work focuses on the cell’s energy metabolism and retrograde signaling. He is professor of genetics, pathology and environmental health at the University of Alabama. Furthermore, he is director of the “Cancer Genetics Program” at the University of Alabama Comprehensive Cancer Center. In addition, he is the founding editor-in-chief of the journal “Mitochondrion”.
