Identification of novel targets for the treatment of lung cancer

MSU wins a highly competitive "Key reserch project grant" from the Else Kröner Fresenius Stiftung to study the role of MAPKs in the development of lung cancer. Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the most common cancer of the lung and the leading cause of cancer death in men worldwide. We would like to focus on the role of the understudied kinome and the MAPKs in the regulation of NSCLC tumourigenesis and in regulating tumour immunity.
