Aleksandra Dimitrijevic
Technician / BSc Biology
Born in Novi Sad, Serbia. After high school, I was accepted in pre-vet program at University of Prince Edward Island, Canada; where I finished my Bachelors of Science in
Biology. My first laboratory job experience as a technical assistant was in an
immunology (allergy) group at the National Research Council of Canada, NRC-INH. This
experience founded my interest in exploring immunology and cell signalling. I
subsequently further specialized my laboratory experience in immunology and genetics at the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Canada.
